Our Resort is called Dan & Jeannie's "Bali Kai", and is centrally located on the Kona Coast of The Big Island of Hawaii.

We are not on Oahu where Honolulu and Waikiki are, and we are not on Maui or Kauai. We are on "The Big Island", or "The Island of Hawaii", larger than all the other Islands combined! THE KONA COAST is a 40 mile long coastline on "THE BIG ISLAND OF HAWAII'S" west coast. The main city on the Kona Coast is the tourist and fishing village of Kailua. Our resort is located two miles south of downtown Kailua at the oceanfront on Ali'i Drive. This area is predominantly residential, with a mixture of homes and condos. Two miles South of our resort is the Keauhou area, the location of shopping centers, golf courses and shows. We are 15 minutes south of the Kona airport. The Kona airport has full rental car availability. In addition to resort type shopping and dining, the Kailua-Kona area has a Price-Costco, K-Mart, Wal-Mart, several full service supermarkets, McDonalds, Pizza Hut, etc.
